JUSTICE MONTH
Devoting 31 days to supporting access to justice? Challenge accepted! This crazy and ambitious idea dates back to 2015 and is now known as the Month of Justice.
Legal clinics in the metro
Every Thursday in March, notaries and lawyers will be offering free legal consultations in the Montreal metro. Anyone wishing to take advantage of this service can come to Métro Place-des-Arts with all the documents they need to answer their legal questions: lease renewal notices, court notices, contracts, wills, judgments, formal notices, and so on.
No reservation is required. Consultations last 15 minutes.
Place-des-Arts metro station from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm on March 7, 14, 21 and 28, 2024.
Seminar
The Month of Justice is also a one-day symposium where notaries, lawyers, professors and speakers come together to reflect on key issues affecting access to justice, and to identify actions for change.
This year, we’ll be looking at How can justice adapt to today’s socio-economic turbulence?
