You are a common-law partner if:
- You have been living at the same address as your spouse for at least one year;- You have at least one child with your spouse
You have a dependent child if:
- You have custody of the child
- You pay child support for the child
- Your child is over the age of majority but is in school full time.
The hourly rate applicable to your file will be $60.
The hourly rate applicable to your file will be $80.
Affordable legal services are reserved for people who do not qualify for legal aid. You are responsible for verifying your eligibility for free and contributory legal aid by visiting the Commission des services juridiques website or by visiting a legal aid office.

The balance sheet must show your total professional income and expenses since January 1 of the current year.
